Watercolor is a wonderful art form that is portable and easy!
In this workshop, we will learn all the basics of painting with watercolor while painting nebulous, intriguing planets! We will learn different blending and layering techniques and how to put together a composition. We will go over the ins and outs of choosing brushes, the styles of watercolor paint (pan vs liquid watercolors), and discuss types of watercolor paper while doing a warm-up to get comfortable with the materials.
Once everyone is ready, we will paint some planets! By the end of class, everyone will create two watercolor paintings and have the confidence to create more!
