I'm an illustrator and watercolor painter living in Oakland, CA.
I grew up wandering in gardens around the Bay Area and dreaming of flowers, rocks, soil and water. I was raised by my single mother who has been a professional gardener for my whole life. I've always loved to create paper products and I would find quiet spaces in the yard to make little treasures. I have followed a meandering path to find my way to a career in illustration and I'm overjoyed to share my love of nature through painting. Watercolor is my muse and I love its unpredictable, unforgiving qualities; it is my daily joy to harness the wildness of the medium and reveal its delicacy and strength.
